Get you some iPad3 Feel Good

So…. Apple’s iPad3 has released and all the Apple fans are in their glory. While I am not an Apple guy (no reason in particular, I hate all Operating Systems equally) I still love gadgets…

So what’s the fuss you might ask and why is this a Feel Good Gadget.. well glad you asked..

Lets talk about it for a moment and then address where you go get one of these bad boys possibly if the mood strikes you!!

The most important improvement (some would say the only relevant one) that has made the “desiring” ears perk and eyes light up is its display. A retina display moves the screen to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL OF FEEL GOOD AWESOME and will be a spec (raising the machine’s screen resolution to 2048 by 1536 – THAT IS 4X BETTER THAN BEFORE) that other vendors will have some trouble competing with for quite a while I bet. Many people think that it is now in the Hi-Def Quality arena.

The downside effect of this is that Apple was not able to make the iPad 3 thinner than the iPad2 which was a target goal for them and will surely not make a lot of Apple peeps happy.

Though the processor is also faster, it doesn’t seem “feel faster” than previous iterations, but then again, having to support that AWESOME SCREEN will take a little horsepower.

It also has a new 5 mega pixel camera which is an improvement but not as good as the 8 mega pixel camera that is in the iPhone 4S. The ASUS Transformer Prime has one so it’s not like it hasn’t been done so it seems a little short sighted in my humble opinion

While many Android people will point out many other potential or real shortcomings, that isn’t the point of this blog now is it??? The screen is awesome to see and that is why it makes it a nice to have on the Christmas List.

For those of you who missed out on pre-orders of of the iPad3, there’s still a chance to grab the coveted tablet at launch this Friday.

Apple says their stores will open on at 8 a.m. on March 16 to accommodate you “must have” types.

The company will offer free Personal Setup services for consumers who purchase an iPad, allowing them to have e-mail accounts and apps added to the tablet before walking out.

However, if you do plan on trying to grab a new iPad at an Apple store, you might want to get there early as people tend to form lines at other places as well.

NOTE: You can also purchase the new iPad at Best Buy, Radio Shack, Sam’s Club, Target and Walmart (as alternate places to try).
