Everyone, meet little Fiona… A blind dog rescued from a trash heap.

Now I WARN YOU, this is going to start off in completely the opposite direction of the Feel Good Depot Kind Of Way but you really need to watch the whole thing to get the full effect of how tremendously AWESOME this story really is.

When I saw the lady from the Hope For Paws Animal Rescue Organization start crying as soon as she saw Fiona, I almost lost it… and that song… how fitting but it made me start to choke up too.

So they clean her up.. bathe her & shave her to help get rid of the worst flea infestation they have ever seen (and I got to imagine they have seen some doozies). I am sitting there thinking.. man, this dog has got to be wondering what in the world is going on…

They take Fiona to Dr. Michael Chang in L.A Thanks to all the donations they received from people around the world and from people buying their book (“Our Lives Have Gone To The Dogs”). (If you know where he is, tell me and I will certainly link to him here as well) He’s Another AWESOME person (along with his team) who Deserves more credit and thanks than I can give. He Tells them that in fact the dog is totally blind but that he can restore sight in 1 eye!!!!!! YOU GO DOC – YOU ROCK!!!!!

Works his magic, saves the eye and the dog gets adopted by Michele & Chris Gentry who in my book ALSO ROCK!!! People can go get a dog who is fully healthy and problem free but they go get one with one eye and decide that is their girl.. Yep YOU ROCK TOO!!!!

These people at the Hope For Paws Animal Rescue Organization deserve more than a blog post from me as they are just PURELY AWESOME. So make sure if you are the blogging or website type you post a link to them and help drive some serious traffic their way!!! If you can, make a donation to please do so, no matter how small, as I think they would be very appreciative (a little here and there starts to add up to help continue their good deeds)…

As if I hadn’t said it enough…. YOU PEOPLE ROCK and I am proud to post this on my blog!!!!!
